Oh my goodness, I’ve been toying with Zombies Run for ages but you can’t do it in Garmin and i didn’t want to carry my phone.....
But today is special, it’s all a bit complicated to set up because I wanted the run on Garmin then realised I’d need the music on phone or it wouldn’t fade out when the talking happened, so had to disconnect headphones from Garmin.....you get the picture
Boy does it start loud, with bangs and crashes and helicopters, loads of interaction, i loved it, I kept to a very slow steady pace knowing from other posts that I would need to speed up.....
Well! speed up I did, although the splits are slow there are parts when my pace was 5.49 which is faster than ever before, no wonder I was puffed out
The first lot of Zombies I distracted by dropping something the second lot I evaded and evaded the third lot too.....
When I was safe I carried on to run 5k, the park wasn’t too busy but got busier as time went in, one lady We’ve seen before said hi each time we passed each other and all the various dogs behaved themselves
Not fast but fun and has left me buzzing and smiling
