Ran this morning. Short run. And short on words today! Still posting, though.
Really heavy (but fun) work week. Last run on Sunday! But still managing to run this week. Glad to get one in during the week, just about! Meeting my target of minimum 2 runs per week, just about.
Lovely run. Took a NRC speed run, with 1 min sprint intervals. Used half my route and out and back to avoid hill, e.g. found my track, as Coach Cory said!
Also used NRC Spotify playlist, but afterwards found I had listened to the playlist for “A Long Run” rather than “Speed Run”. Listened to “Speed Run” while stretching. Would have been more ideal the other way around. Still a new experience, though.
Run was fun. Sweaty, despite just 27 min. Learning to run fast…. Or faster. Still snail, though. Still loving it.
Run on, everyone!

Well done for getting out there CBDB 👏👏 I never use the NRC playlist for my guided runs - I just can’t get on with them at all 😳 I like my Spotify playlists, and just ignore the adverts!
I’ve been really enjoying the NRC speed runs. Yours this morning sounds great. “No time, go time” is a good one if you’re short on time (unsurprisingly!). Twenty minutes but feels like a proper workout.
I think at the moment, sweaty is just a given! I’ve done an easy run today without ever getting out of breath and I’m bright red and soaking. It’s this sunshine!
Well done was out for a sort walk 2 km 20 mins as legs have been in the wars with horrific cramp all night that brought tears. Trying sports drinks and salty water drink before bed and heat pad. Dreading going to bed. Enjoy the sun. ☀️
Oh dear. Cramps can be painful. Magnesium (and Bananas) are said to help. (I haven’t had a cramp for years, and I do take magnesium supplement, but not sure it’s related)
I've just realised your post is 4 days old! I only got the email alert today. I don't know if it's just me but my alerts come through days after the actual posts 🙄
