If you're after some shokz headphones they've been discounted

Looks like many models are reduced in price, but these are the cheapest, Mr Sax64 just ordered a pair. Safe running everyone 🏃‍♀️

Love my Shokz openmove. They are much better than the earlier model, which they replaced no quibble when they broke. Useful for not only listening to your music via Bluetooth but also for making /receiving phone calls on the run.

Much safer than in ear or noise-cancelling earphones.

Absolutely, I'm also a fan. I run lanes, so I need to hear the vehicles.

So do I, I'm so tempted, but can I wear a hat, or a headband?

You can certainly wear a headband, and I've just tried a loose fitting beanie and it seamed ok, even with my hair tied up in a pony tail.

Ahh thanks for replying!. I've actually just gone mad and ordered these😬😬More than I wanted to pay, but I've been watching them for a while.

I use Galaxy buds, but the left one always tries to leap out, and I have to wear a hat, plus I run on lanes, so I have convinced myself that I need something else. Hopefully I will love them!

How are they for calls? I've never used mine in this way. My wife fancies a pair, but uses her walks for LONG talks on the phone. This is the number 1 priority for her: do they really work well for calls?

I find them really good. My iPhone is Siri enabled so I just hold the left hand control in and say ‘Call so and So mobile or home’ and Siri repeats the command and then it starts ringing. So I ring OH to say I’ve got 15 minutes to go and he appears with warm layers .

The only problem I have is if I’m doing an NRC guided run and someone calls me then it can stop it. But now I know that, I can start it again

Thank you!

Worth her trying yours out first as they are not cheap. We tend to a test call before we leave the house just to make sure the set up is right.

We did exactly that before I saw your message, which is such a good idea. She wasn't happy with the result! She likes them for podcasts in the garden, but not phone calls by the road!

Yes, my phone calls while running tend to be short and sweet. I also use mine while gardening or washing the car, great to have a pidcast or nice bit of music that doesn’t annoy the neighbours.

Strongly recommended - I love my Shokz- comfy, good quality, long charge life and quick charge. Very useful when cyclists are around on paths and lanes. They rarely use their bells but I can still hear them and stay safe ✅

I use them too. I use them for listening to coaching as I go along. I need to be able to hear bikes hurtling up behind me too …they work for me.

I gave the openrun mini and they’re brilliant. Love a bargain…thanks for sharing!

I have different Shokz, but have only used them for listening. My wife needs new earphones but makes/receives calls on the move. Does anyone have experience with Shokz and phone calls?

They're OK, but struggle if you have passing traffic or there is wind noise.

Thanks for that!😁 I have coveted a pair of these headphones 🎧 for some time but couldn't justify the cost. I have finally given in due to the reduction but I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for your post! Shokz also have the same offer by the way.

I have a of these and a pair of open run. The open runs no longer switch on and haven't had them a year yet and I can't remember where I got them from and can't find receipt. I got a pair of cheap ones from Amazon and they are just as good and a good deal cheaper. I've bought another pair from Temu for less than a tenner, it will be interesting to see what they are like when they arrive.

I had a free replacement for my first pair which had a faulty connection to the titanium band. Shokx gave excellent customer service. Worth contacting them just in case. If you bought online you may have some detail in an old email.

Thanks Dexy5. I contacted them and then found the receipt which was in a safe place I forgot about... I need to get the serial number and provide a video of it not working. Serial number is tiny and a bit scratched. Hopefully it will be enough for them.
