And, Jools2020 was too polite to point out on yesterday's post that I have alternative places to run. It's so easy to get out of the habit...but I think I'm getting back into it now.
Today I wanted to see the sea, so that's what I did. I chose a 60 minute run knowing I would probably take walk breaks and photo breaks, which I also did.
It was lovely out, no wind, some sun, no rain, just a day. Me tootling along with shorts and a thin long sleeved top, sunglasses and a buff to hold my hair back, I'm beginning to look forward to being able to tie it back again.
I cut off the road and ran round the lake, where some of the paths are still covered with water but a lot of it has drained away. A guy feeding the ducks and swans,
I enjoyed being out and the bonus was being beside the sea. The tide wasn't high and the waves weren't big, that's what I love about the sea, it's different every time I go.
At just over 3 k I turned for home, back through the old golf course, up over the railway bridge, running easy, smile on my face.
An hour done, not fast, certainly nothing special, but I'm pleased I got out. There's another storm coming, stay safe and dry.
Run happy or rest well.
