First tiny run this morning after 2 weeks on the IC. Just 16 minutes of Jeffing, so actually 8 min walking, 8 min running, the rest cool down and warm up.

I wore my compression sleeve, which I think I will continue to wear for a while. I listened to a podcast rather than music, as it helps me run slower. (Podcast: Slow Burn Season 8 - Becoming Justice Thomas)

And I made sure I did an extensive warmup and dynamic calf stretches, as well as post run stretches.

I just can feel a hint of my worked-out muscles in my calf but I generally feel great. Now on to my cross-fibre massage, which I have done daily in the last few days, and I think these are also a game changer.

So I’ll take it slow, but I am on my way back!

Happy running, everone!

Congratulations on a great comeback run! Onwards and upwards from here!!! It’s the best feeling to be a runner who is on the way back rather than on the injury couch. Enjoy! ❀️

As someone who is also on the road to recovery - well done! It’s great when the rehab exercises pay off and you can feel yourself making progress again! Hope this continues for you.πŸ™‚

Great to see you back CBDB take it nice and slowly and you’ll be back stronger than ever. I’m still struggling with chest infection so not running atm. Managed a 4 mile walk yesterday so think I might try some jeffing at the end of the week.

Fantastic news! I’m a big advocate of compression technology. Onwards and upwards πŸ’ͺ
