More germs and a catch up

I had a fabulous run early last Saturday morning.. running up the field as the sun was coming up 🌄 My eldest boy was 7 last weekend so I knew I had to be up early as there was lots going on. It was a thoroughly enjoyable run. As the weekend went on I started to feel a bit weary... although understandable after all the "doing" for said birthday. Went swimming monday evening and I felt rough... cue the start of cold no 2! I haven't felt that bad but just not 100%. I went for my swimming lesson on Wednesday evening and just took it gently. No running all week but just been out this morning for 20 minutes. It was ok... hopefully the cold will fully go soon and I can get back on track. Current plan is another run on Monday.. 15 / 20 minutes if still not 100% or 30 minutes if feeling brighter. Happy Saturday everyone 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

There are so many bugs around! You did the right thing by resting and recovering, frustrating thought that is. Glad you’re better enough now-a twenty minute run is a really nice one for coming back. Hopefully it won’t be long before you’re back to full power ❤️
