I’ve graduated I think, about 2 years ago. I am easily demotivated as still not achieved 5k but, I continue to go out and just back from 20 min run.

Wanted to thank you guys. I still rely on the posts on here every time before I go out and read how others are doing, celebrates and challenges.

Gets me out there so, from the silent sidelines - just wanted to thank you for posting

Yes, I'm the same. I don't often post but read every day and it's a big part of what keeps me running. Well done on keeping going and doing great things for your health!

Wonderful Sisteract! I’m glad all the posts help inspire you. Without C25K and HU there’s no way I’d have kept it up. A 20 minute today run is brilliant, well done you. 😀

Totally awesome that you are keeping it up, I graduated in early July, I was only running for 3.2km at that time, since then I have been doing different sessions, IE, short speed sessions, small hill sessions and longer run/walk/run sessions, I have now completed my first 3 5km parkruns, by slowly increasing your time running, just like you did on C25K, you will get there, my first 5km took over 50 minutes, my best so far is just under 40 minutes, I have also joined my local athletics club. My target aim was to do the Xmas 5k club run in December, whilst that is still on the cards my new target is a 10 km race in April. Just set yourself realistic targets and find a flexible training plan and you will get there (why not redo C25K from W7) . Good luck 🤞🙏

Thank you for the tips - I will try them and keep going - if I get 5k you’ll all know about it, I’ll be celebrating like Usain Bolt! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. If not, well I’ll still pay myself on the back for trying. 😊
