Yesterday I was planning to do my 60 minute 4 hill run.
But, heading south past No Man’s Land (odd name) I reached the crossroads at 39 minutes which is a minute longer than a PB contender.
Then someone inside my head said “if you’re not going to manage a PB, go for a longer run”. Instead of turning eastwards when I could have finished in about 20 minutes, I carried on southwards towards Trelill and turned northwest through Watergate to get back to the main road.
I realised too late how knackering the uphill is. It puffs me out just walking it.
End result: a new 80 minute four hill run, a lot of satisfaction and legs which needed a full day’s rest 🥴
