Today I didn’t have time to do all the things I needed to, so I decided to run in to town to post a parcel and collect an order from Boots.

As a plan it worked quite well. I also intermingled fartleks, walking in to Boots, then running to the post office, then walking in to the PO. I walked for a few seconds every 5 mins on the run home to see how it felt. Only did 4km as needed to get through the shower and go out again. Not sure I would have bothered if it hadn’t been for reading one of Fabulous450’s posts a while back, so THANK YOU F450 for the inspiration! 🙏 And I got to where I was supposed to be in time 😀

Now there is multi- tasking! Great way to fit in a run.

The inspiration we get from others is amazing isn’t it! Well done you too though- you are the one who did it!

It's amazing how reading a few comments on here can have you lacing up your running shoes and heading out the door before you know it.

It sounds daft but it only dawned on me last week that running could be a mode of transport. I’m looking forward to my first ‘useful’ run.

Tee hee hee, your comment made me laugh out loud! There are certain limitations of course, you can't do your supermarket shop, but a small parcel to the post office is done more quickly if you run there!
