I’ve not run with any podcast, music, coach in my ears since before Christmas - just let my thoughts wander but yesterday I put together a 30 min playlist in prep for today.🎶
Last night before bed, I got all my running gear together in the spare room ready for this morning. Headphones, phone and watch all fully charged and waiting for me.
Alarm went at 6am … just one 10 min snooze I think 💤… and then another 😴 … and then other 🛌 and as I flung out my hand once again I stopped. What on earth is the point of getting everything ready and then not going ? 🙄
So yes - 6.30am and slinging on my running gear. Armed with all gadgets I make my way downstairs for my door key. Oh no - the one thing I didn’t factor in is that keys were not “where I always put them” ! 🔑 Note to self to include keys on prep list
A quick scout around to find them (not where they should be at all) and finally out the door at 6.45 - still not too bad I suppose ?
Glorious morning and had a marvellous run - 3k in just under 23mins which is a record for me. 🏅Walked back just as the last of my playlist was going.
I’m so pleased I didn’t snooze one more time 😉
