Didnβt feel quite the ticket last week not poorly, just a bit meh.
Much better this week so I decided today was going to be the day - aim for 60 mins π‘π’
YES YES YES - I did it - well 62 actually π₯³ I stopped at 58 last week and was really annoyed with myself so learnt my lesson π
Set off in the dark with some new running acquisitions- a sort of harness thing with lights and running gloves with glow strips - I didnβt even know such things existed a few months ago but my fingers swell up and burn a bit when I run so I thought Iβd give them a go.
Started my warmup walk getting all my gadgetry synced and then realised I only had one glove with me and I know I left the house with two. Retraced steps and found said errant glove - harness light purchase was worthwhile then π π
Spent half hour planning my route and playlist last night and it was time well spent - enjoyed all the tunes and the final song to see me to the finish line was from Dirty Dancing ... βnobody puts 61Lady in the cornerβ π€£
Managed a little jig of my own at the end ππΌ so chuffed with myself. Who knew I could lug this 61 year old overweight body on a jog for a whole hour ?
