A shorter, brisk run this evening

I had four hours of train trips today so was pleased to get home just after 6pm. I’d decided to try for a much shorter but faster run as I’ve been learning a lot from reading lots of posts on HU!

I haven’t run before at a faster pace so it was just a change and I used a very different playlist instead of my ‘usual’ running playlist of old favs. This all helped and I was very happy with the result!

it made a great change to mix things up a little like this. I’m hoping that if I incorporate this into my training that it will be a good help for me.

The photo was taken yesterday along a favourite route of mine.

Hi Oldlady64.

Well done on getting out after your four hours of train trips. You are awesome. I think I probably would had a cup of tea and just crashed on the sofa 😂. Mixing things up a bit is brilliant too. I love exploring new areas….that’s how I mix it for myself.🏃‍♀️😂😂

A run after such a time on trains... sounds good to me... and a quick burst... well that is great too... shaking it up!
