Hello again! So I ran the required 7k this morn. Was a bit sore starting out this morn as my last run was also 7k but then I went to a cask beer festival in the aft and was walking all day as a result. The beer certainly helped take the edge off the pain that day, but not so much the next day...
I’ve also noticed that I no longer need to slow down to reach the needed pace range that the myasics calendar is asking for. Its speeding up now. In fact, I was really making an effort this morn just to keep my pace up. Was managing around 7min/km for the first 5 and then pushed a little harder for the last two which wound up around 6min/km. It was a nice run and I ventured to the hilly side of the cemetery today, and it wasn't too bad really. That side has a nice view of the sunrise with no buildings in the way which was a lovely moment. I also abandoned my standard playlist and just listened to a 3 hr soundtrack of Bladerunner ambient sounds and music (yes, I know, I’m weird) which allowed me to lose track and just run to my own pace which was quite nice. The weather was just right today. It was a nice run.

There are alot of Blade Runner themed tracks, some more offical than others
Sounds like an enjoyable run. I'm jealous.....I'm sitting here staring outside and although the sun is shining, the 50kph winds gusting to 75kph is keeping me inside. I might be forced to use the dreaded treadmill tonight 😱 . I'm supposed to run8k which could be torture on the treadmill. I have Bladerunner recorded on the tv,maybe I should watch that while running and see what it was you were running to this morning 😆
Thanks, I'm feeling like I'm going to need some luck to get it done.....I really dislike the treadmill. Although depending what winter brings this year to the Canadian prairies, I may be forced to do a few treadmill runs 😩
75 kph is enough to pick you up and drop you someplace else entirely! Its probably safer to stay home in those conditions. Yes maybe the bladerunner film would make the treadmill more bearable I added the youtube link in mrruns reply above that I was listening to. Not the film, but more of an ambient audio only backdrop.
