Late park run post!

I was away on a work trip for 3 days last week (what happened to my planned phase into retirement?!) but did do a park run in the Midlands near to where my sister lives.

The day was sunny but the whole route was really shady and cool! A lovely route, right through a park with lots to distract me on the way. I do like a bit of ‘park run tourism’ and to visit others.

The cool breeze and shade helped me such a lot and I made a few new friends along the way. There were two women who were running at about my pace and we helped each other to keep going at a decent pace too, a big win!

I really enjoyed it, as always… I’ve plans for a run later this week. .

The photo is right by my usual route and it was so fab to see the water Lille’s starting to flower

Onwards and upwards!
