First holiday run ☀️

My first ever holiday run! My younger self would never have imagined me taking running kit on holiday 😂.

Set out later than planned this morning and got a bit hot towards the end of the run but I managed the easy paced 4k I’d intended. I’d promised myself I’d leave Mr Garmin at home, but couldn’t resist taking him to confirm distance as I’ve never run here before. I’m staying at a property overlooking the sea in Menorca, but there are no beaches I can run on close to me (it’s rocky coves), so it’s pavement running as usual, but at least the view from the coastal road is better than I’m used to. 😁☀️🏝️

A novel experience for me ! You’ve also reminded me that I’ve been thinking about changing my name on this site as it’s been a while since I’ve been a couch potato! CP101 was on my list (reminds me of C3PO and R2D2😂). I think you’ve made my mind up for me 😁

There have been several running on the forum with the name couchpotato, there was CP2 for years posting her runs but I have not seen any posts from her for ages, a few others as well with that name but a different number.

Marvellous! Running in pastures new is brilliant. All your senses are on alert it seems. Really enjoyable if the weather’s co-operating 😎

Holiday runs are the best, I always pack in order, running clothes and shoes, pyjamas, shorts and tee shirts, 2 jumpers just in case. Oh and a dress just in case too
