Summer holiday!

Hello everyone!

Just back from a lovely holiday in Zakynthos. We stayed in a very nice villa in the centre of the island! So peaceful and rustic! I took my running things but only managed one very short run which involved just doing laps of the villa complex as I didn’t fancy going out in the main road!! (I’m bad enough as a car passenger on the windy mountain roads!!!) It didn’t matter as we did lots of walking and swimming! Such a beautiful island!

Managed to go out this morning for a wee run! I went early and was absolutely boiling even though it was a lot cooler than Greece! Thought I’d smugly escaped the mozzy bites but have discovered loads this morning!! Nevermind! Holiday was well worth it!! 😀🏃‍♀️☀️

Yeah, we want it all. 😁👍

Nice 👍 except for the mozzie bites. You’ll get back to running pretty quickly as routine life kicks in.

Lovely island. I’ve been to the village of Alykanas a few times. Glad you had a great time.

We were in a wee village Agios Dimitrios a little bit further in land from there. Our nearest beach was Alykes. 😀

Looks stunning! Well done on getting straight back on it!

Great pics! Never mind about the missed runs, your legs will probably thank you for the recovery break. They did say you should have a complete break every now and again! 😊
