Park run/walk done 20 seconds slower than last week but happy with it.Calves were hurting and I was walking to fast again, I just seem to get pulled along with the other park runners if you know what I mean, perhaps I should alter my ratio🤔

That’s a very respectable time doggytail . Well done. 👍 If your calves are sore I do suspect you were pushing it a little too much. If you find your sore calves become an ongoing problem, then I can thoroughly recommend the Skins compression socks for recovery.

Parkrun had that effect on me too-it’s hard to avoid going with the herd instead of doing your own thing. Maybe your calves are just gently letting you know it was a bit faster than they liked at the moment! Hopefully they’ll settle down soon. I find some gentle walking helps with that but I’ll be checking out the socks  RunBrianRun recommends. They sound fab!

Great run. You rightly deserve to be pleased with it!

Well done! It’s hard to run your own run when you’re in a group!

Like Sola, I’ve never run sub 40 either! 🐌
