Since I did my 10k charity run in February I seem to have been finding it tough going. I can do 5k park runs but am struggling to do much further or including any inclines.
Wondering if I should start juju's programme again.
Any advice my running buddies? 🤔

Book another race? If you have something in the diary then that should give you some motivation to get the mileage in. You could download a MyAsics plan for it too so you simply follow what it gives you.
You could definitely go for Ju-Ju's plan again but you've done it before and I'm not sure it's the right thing for you at this stage.
It could just be a rough patch (I've had them a few times). I would just go with your body for a while and not force it, could be the end of winter (it's got to end some time) blues and body at a low ebb. I would just try and run for pleasure for a couple of weeks and (not being rude here) making sure you are getting plenty of vit D and nutrient rich food. I do most of the time but if I fall off that wagon my body tends to rebel 😮
I haven't been running that long so maybe I have just hit a difficult patch. I do eat well (mostly 😉) but I'll have a think about nutrition and try not to push the running.
I've seen virtual runs so that's a good idea. Might try repeating juju's programme too. I have a 10k in 5 weeks rescheduled charity run with friends. I think the thought of hills is playing with my head 😳
I've been pondering distances as I haven't run for over 3 weeks due to a dodgy bum muscle, which started since doing 10ks - I probably managed about 6 runs before it got so bad that I can't even run for 2k at the mo. I think doing what feels comfortable is the most important and not pushing it too far. I quite like 8k as a distance, not too much of a stretch but still a sizeable run.
Sorry to hear you are still not running. I think I need to listen to my body and not try pushing too much, thank you.
I think your running recipe is unique to you, especially at certain times of your running life. Inclines really take it out of you - have you tried the back stitch method to see if that helps? Find a hill or slope from the bottom mark out milestones. Run to the first milestone and walk back to the bottom of the hill, then run back up to the second milestone and then walk back down. The key is making the milestones manageable.
If it’s not just the hills and you think it’s the distance, really give yourself a good rest before doing the big run. I am struggling at the 15k mark, and now my thought is that regular longish runs are probably making it too hard to nail the big one.
Perhaps try some runs of less than 5k? Hope you find a recipe you like.
I might try going back to some flat runs, including the local flat park run instead of the one with inclines. Also the runs near home which I did on c25k (avoiding hills).
Yesterday I tried a longer run with inclines and maybe that's too much for me at the moment. Many thanks for your wise words.
I agree with the suggestion of virtual events and a bit of bling... it seems to have lifted me out of my increasingly short run rut....first five and a half years running and I wasn't interested. The Quests are good too.
