An old fashioned jog

On our regular week’s Spring break in Alicante. With judicious packing and travelling looking like Michelin Man I managed to get enough clothes and running stuff on me and into a small bag on Ryanair.

The week has been somewhat calorific so far. After a long discussion with my heavy legs this morning we agreed to a jog (130-140 spm) for 4.5 km along the sea front and back. Absolutely flat. Good paving. Ignoring the bright young things charging past me and making the power walkers feel good as I barely overtook them.

A great way to start the day. Happy runnings, all 😎

It’s a super town. For me, like a pocket sized Barcelona. Good to have a bit of sun on us. 🌞

Well done there HeavyFoot 😊, can’t beat a nice beach promenade run. I had to laugh, your post reminded me of a young man I saw on TV once, he flew a budget airline and his friend bet him that he couldn’t take everything he needed without a bag. So what he did was get a tailor to alter his long coat, sewing huge pockets in it everywhere. He managed to fit a week’s worth of clothes in it including shoes. He was let on the plane. Anyway, I am massively digressing, enjoy your spring break! 🌞🌞🌞

Holidays are always allowed to be calorific in this household! How do you try all the local cuisine otherwise?!

Gorgeous photo-on a grey day in North Somerset, I’m very envious!! Enjoy!
