Slow but steady, although I did start too quickly, whoops.
Unfortunately, my left knee has been niggling since I tripped on Tuesday. Thursday's run, the niggle kicked in mid run and today it was griping earlier on. The temperature was a cool 3 degrees when I left the car so was layered up. I ended up removing layers.
I have also been struggling with my Grandma dieing a couple of weeks ago. She was 103 though but it was still unexpected. Since then, sleep has been erratic and not really been motivated. I have managed to run twice a week, but not been enjoying them. Her funeral is on 11th so hopefully once we have had that I can get my head back.
Plan is to rest a week, then gently work up again. It does mean that I am out of sync with JoJo's 10k plan but I don't want to put my knee out again.
On the plus side, walking back to the car in Guildford today I got beeps and children waving at me and raised Β£120 for the BHF, which made me smile
