First 7k, First daytime run

So I graduated C25k about a month ago and have consistently been running 3x a week since then, running the odd 5k (not a 30 min 5k I hasten to add😂) I’ve always run at night due to not being an “early morning person” work and generally feeling a bit self conscious but today I managed not just 6k (which is what I was aiming for) but 7k round our local park and in daylight! I’ve had an extremely stressful time of late with my father being very poorly and in and out hospital for months plus contracting covid whilst he was in there but today I managed to switch off, relish the “daylight” fresh air, mud and puddles and really enjoy my run. Merry Christmas all 🎄

Fantastic that you got out today, great distance. Sorry to hear about your added stress this year but glad running is helping you cope. Happy running 🤗

That's amazing Fazwaz! I graduated in October and can't imagine being able to run 6k, let alone 7k anytime soon. Hope 2021 is a kinder year to you. Merry Christmas 🎄

Tbh it wasn’t intentional, you know you get one of those days where you just keep going? It did help having my daughter running with me too though as I usually run on my own. You’ll be doing it too before long you’ll see! Merry Christmas 🎄

Well done for being brave and going out in daylight. Now you've proved to yourself that you can! And a great distance too. Happy Christmas!
