I decided to try and run all the way to the gym this morning . I managed 11 minutes on Tuesday before needing the loo and having to walk the rest of the way cross legged.
So I tried to prepare š
I thought I will listen to Jo Whiley and do week 8 but my app wasnt having any of it. It stated I had to repeat week 9.
Off I went, 10 minutes in feeling shattered, when Jo says your doing so well, with her encouragement I plodded on.
Now 20 minutes in and the gym is in sight, your doing brilliantly says she, if it's tough slow down. If I go any slower I will stop, only 5 minutes left calves aching breathing heavy. I run past the gym looking at it longingly. 1 minute to go, well done says Jo proud of you. I find some energy from somewhere to punch the air feeling elated.
Turn round and head back to the gym at a cool down walk, thanking jo for her encouragement I dont think I could have done it without her.
My first 30 minutes since September.
