getting back into it!

Inspired by reading postings on HealthUnlocked I just got out running again, after a few poor weeks with asthma (and poor motivation!).

I ran for a steady 20 minutes and am feeling really pleased. It started off a bit rainy but the sun came out and it was a really pleasant run along a beautiful woodland path and through the park. Roll on the next run but I’m aware that I must move on slowly without trying to constantly add to the length of run 😄.

Thanks! Now to have a rest day and do another one on Wednesday 😁. Good luck with your running too.

Well done Oldlady64 , that sounds like a great start back! You could maybe revisit the C25K programme if you'd find the structure helpful? Perhaps keep an eye out, too, over on the C25K forum for Oldfloss 's posts aimed at those returning to running. Most of all, have fun!

Slow and steady... you KNOW it makes sense... the longer runs are waiting for the right time, and you need to try to remember that :)

Well done on the 20 minute run... :)

Well done! I've fallen out of the saddle lately for various reasons, not run since 18th September and I am missing it :(

I do understand. Here’s hoping that you can get out soonish for a short run!
