Eilish thought that her time was wrong and isn't too bothered as she is a expert in time and pacing, but I feel more sorry for other runners in the Great Scottish Run 10k who no longer have PB's.

I heard her being interviewed too Al, and I agree she was very accepting of it. She said she knew the time wasn’t right when she crossed the finish line as she’s run the distance so many times and knows her pacing like the back of her hand. Such a lovely person. 🥰

150 metres is quite a lot so I'm sure Eilish would have known something wasn't right.

If a runner had a sub 45 minutes 10K PB say at 44:55 he would have been very happy but with that new revised time he will no longer have that sub 45 minutes, now it is probably 45:15

But it has happened again with the 2022 10km race of the Great Scottish Run. We can send men to the moon, we have global positioning systems accurate to within a few metres so it is hard to understand why a mistake was made. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, one length mistake in a race can be regarded as a misfortune but two mistakes looks like carelessness.
