Wrote a post about my run on Tuesday, with photo, but the internet has eaten it, so here is a shortened version.
Tuesday 7am, national trust woods, lots of squirrels, morning ground mist, hardly any people, not too hot, chatted to friendly dog owner and dog, got licked by dog, managed a nice steady 5k, thank you! Keep cool out there peeps βοΈ

Thank you BC,I loved it, felt like my old self again. I'm sure the speed will return in time, but it's really not as important to me as feeling good on the run.
Young, bouncy, glossy black, Very Friendly, on a lead (yay!), wanted to jump up, and did π but lovely owner warned me so I took my chances. Couldn't place a breed, I'm no expert, but size and look of a red setter. If it had seen a squirrel, I don't think it would have been very interested in me π Oh and I had finished my run and was walking back when we met π π
They were definitely taking advantage of the quiet before lots of humans turned up! I stood and leaned on a fence after I'd finished my cooldown, watching them scamper about stashing acorns away. Yes, it was a touch annoying when the first post disappearedπ
Yay! My notifications are working again. Iβm so looking forward to running in beautiful areas like your photo shows. Just lovely and its still going to be there when you want to do it again. Brilliant National Trust. π
Lovely cool inviting forest. Glad you had a good run. Forests are good for the soul. I'm such a tree hugger! Think I'll pop over to the arboretum for a run this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration! π³πββοΈβ€οΈπ²
