I've had a couple of weeks that have been very busy (for me ๐), but last week was relatively calm with no need for the 6.30am alarm to be set๐ด So lots of time for exercises, runs, reading posts and posting stuff ... but in reality time just disappeared and in the case of exercises inclination just disappeared too ๐ฑ
I'm blaming the change in the weather and the daylight hours declining. Does any one else feel the change? All I want to do is eat.. all the carbs in the world ๐คฃ๐ and then sleep.
Thankfully I did manage to get outside to do 2 runs. A 10k last Monday that was almost entirely run on roads and intermittent drizzle and 4k on Thursday under brighter skies and entirely run on trails with a variety of surfaces as you can see from the photo.
Happy running ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐

oh I absolutely know what you mean! I'm really feeling the change in the weather and the days getting shorter. It's been really busy over here too but it should start calming down a bit after this week so fingers crossed I'll get back on the wagon ๐โโ๏ธ Well done you, you're doing great! ๐ช๐๐๐
I look forward to reading your posts I'm missing your inspiration.
I'm away for a few nights in the Cotswolds, I'm hoping to get a bit of a exploration run in tomorrow or Thursday then its on to Bristol at the weekend for my 10k ๐ฑ ๐ค๐ค๐ค
Maybe you are in realty a small hibernating creature...? Well done you on getting out there eventually!
I am the opposite.. I love Autumn so much and am eager to soak up every hour of the shortening days... the sights, sounds and sensations...I find the slight chill in the air ( although here at the coast today it is very sunny and warm), does sharpen everything up for me..
But that is what's so odd because I love autumn, cooler weather, wearing wooly jumpers and all the beautiful autumn colours.
I'm away in my van for a week now so I'm hoping a holiday exploration run might wake me up ๐คฃ๐

New routes really do shake it up... I am planning a different coastal one tomorrow! Sitting in our van now, so warm.. French doors open and a welcome breeze!
Itโs cheese for me, but iโm tired and thatโs my excuse, Had a cook interview booked for this afternoon and she didnโt turn up so I took the ingredients Iโd got for her test and turned them into dinner for 12 ๐ 9 hour non stop day itโs good to be home with feet up, but cheese is my sin ,
Weโve offered the job to the morning one, itโs a huge strain having to cook as well as everything else and oddly enough Iโd thought Iโd be in the kitchen about 40 minutes but it was an hour and forty five before iโd finished, my boss said earlier โwhat time are you going home today? and I answered โwhen dinner is cooked โ she seems to think Iโm funny ๐
