Is the change in the seasons to blame ?

No idea what's going on with me at the moment.

I've had a couple of weeks that have been very busy (for me ๐Ÿ˜‚), but last week was relatively calm with no need for the 6.30am alarm to be set๐Ÿ˜ด So lots of time for exercises, runs, reading posts and posting stuff ... but in reality time just disappeared and in the case of exercises inclination just disappeared too ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I'm blaming the change in the weather and the daylight hours declining. Does any one else feel the change? All I want to do is eat.. all the carbs in the world ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ and then sleep.

Thankfully I did manage to get outside to do 2 runs. A 10k last Monday that was almost entirely run on roads and intermittent drizzle and 4k on Thursday under brighter skies and entirely run on trails with a variety of surfaces as you can see from the photo.

Happy running ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ

oh I absolutely know what you mean! I'm really feeling the change in the weather and the days getting shorter. It's been really busy over here too but it should start calming down a bit after this week so fingers crossed I'll get back on the wagon ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ Well done you, you're doing great! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Maybe you are in realty a small hibernating creature...? Well done you on getting out there eventually!

I am the opposite.. I love Autumn so much and am eager to soak up every hour of the shortening days... the sights, sounds and sensations...I find the slight chill in the air ( although here at the coast today it is very sunny and warm), does sharpen everything up for me..

We are all so wonderfully different!

But that is what's so odd because I love autumn, cooler weather, wearing wooly jumpers and all the beautiful autumn colours.

I'm away in my van for a week now so I'm hoping a holiday exploration run might wake me up ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

New routes really do shake it up... I am planning a different coastal one tomorrow! Sitting in our van now, so warm.. French doors open and a welcome breeze!

Enjoy your week!

Much warmer here in the Cotswolds than Yorkshire! It makes me a bit worried forSunday when I'm doing the Bristol 10k ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

Phew...yes... I am in North Wales and it is like a Summer's day... weird isn't it? Love the Cotswolds... I had my 60th birthday there! Lucky you!

Autumn changes always shake things up and cooler weather makes us hungry but at least you are still getting out and running

Thankyou WillowandSola ๐Ÿ˜Š I love your reply. Now I will just blame the weather for my constant carbohydrate cravings .

Itโ€™s cheese for me, but iโ€™m tired and thatโ€™s my excuse, Had a cook interview booked for this afternoon and she didnโ€™t turn up so I took the ingredients Iโ€™d got for her test and turned them into dinner for 12 ๐Ÿ˜€ 9 hour non stop day itโ€™s good to be home with feet up, but cheese is my sin ,

I can't imagine having to suddenly knock up dinner for 12. Well done you, it sounds like you deserve to put your feet up.

I hope your next applicant actually turns up and turns out to be just what you are looking for.

Weโ€™ve offered the job to the morning one, itโ€™s a huge strain having to cook as well as everything else and oddly enough Iโ€™d thought Iโ€™d be in the kitchen about 40 minutes but it was an hour and forty five before iโ€™d finished, my boss said earlier โ€˜what time are you going home today? and I answered โ€˜when dinner is cooked โ€˜ she seems to think Iโ€™m funny ๐Ÿ˜„
