I've had a couple of weeks that have been very busy (for me π), but last week was relatively calm with no need for the 6.30am alarm to be setπ΄ So lots of time for exercises, runs, reading posts and posting stuff ... but in reality time just disappeared and in the case of exercises inclination just disappeared too π±
I'm blaming the change in the weather and the daylight hours declining. Does any one else feel the change? All I want to do is eat.. all the carbs in the world π€£π and then sleep.
Thankfully I did manage to get outside to do 2 runs. A 10k last Monday that was almost entirely run on roads and intermittent drizzle and 4k on Thursday under brighter skies and entirely run on trails with a variety of surfaces as you can see from the photo.
Happy running πββοΈπββοΈπ

oh I absolutely know what you mean! I'm really feeling the change in the weather and the days getting shorter. It's been really busy over here too but it should start calming down a bit after this week so fingers crossed I'll get back on the wagon πββοΈ Well done you, you're doing great! πͺπππ
I look forward to reading your posts I'm missing your inspiration.
I'm away for a few nights in the Cotswolds, I'm hoping to get a bit of a exploration run in tomorrow or Thursday then its on to Bristol at the weekend for my 10k π± π€π€π€
Maybe you are in realty a small hibernating creature...? Well done you on getting out there eventually!
I am the opposite.. I love Autumn so much and am eager to soak up every hour of the shortening days... the sights, sounds and sensations...I find the slight chill in the air ( although here at the coast today it is very sunny and warm), does sharpen everything up for me..
New routes really do shake it up... I am planning a different coastal one tomorrow! Sitting in our van now, so warm.. French doors open and a welcome breeze!
Itβs cheese for me, but iβm tired and thatβs my excuse, Had a cook interview booked for this afternoon and she didnβt turn up so I took the ingredients Iβd got for her test and turned them into dinner for 12 π 9 hour non stop day itβs good to be home with feet up, but cheese is my sin ,
Weβve offered the job to the morning one, itβs a huge strain having to cook as well as everything else and oddly enough Iβd thought Iβd be in the kitchen about 40 minutes but it was an hour and forty five before iβd finished, my boss said earlier βwhat time are you going home today? and I answered βwhen dinner is cooked β she seems to think Iβm funny π
