Just wanting to reflect on the group wisdom of how running is such good therapy. My mum is very poorly so normal running has gone out the window but just going out for a run while listening to a Nike Guided Run can really help. One of their mindful runs is absolutely spot on. Just flagging as I’m sure there will be runners out there equally going through a tough time and finding a run can make a lot of difference. This is a view of the reservoir near where mum was in hospital absolutely beautiful spot for a run.

I know exactly how you feel about running being therapy. My elderly mum passed away in 2019 and I got “the call” while I was out running and obviously had to drop everything. I thought it might ruin my association with running, but far from it; I was able to go out and lose myself in thoughts and memories. I still dedicate various runs to her and my dad. 🥰
We’re so lucky to have it to turn to, and you should use it to your advantage at this tricky time.
