So I went out today and wanted to beat my longest run of 6.1 K. I felt good and was running relatively easily, not getting hung up on pace or anything so decided to go for it.
I found a new route and lost track of my distance or even where I was but just felt like I wanted to keep going. I’m ‘Forest Gumping It’ I thought.
Hit 5.5K and still felt great! Well 7.1K later and completed my longest run yet. Those last 2K were hard but feels great! Still can’t believe I am actually a runner! Keep going everyone 🌹

My furthest is still 5km but I'm definitely running quicker since I started jeffing (only two runs ago but I've shaved a minute off my mile pace already!)
wow you are doing so well, a huge well done! I’m struggling a bit on feeling comfortable with my running, I have been doing 3 5k runs per week but they don’t seem to get or feel any easier. Any tips?
All I can say is keep running. Do the 3.5 runs and when you feel good try for 4K it’s not so much different. Keep it slow and as comfortable as possible but just keep going. Once you do several 4K your 3.5K will feel easy.
Well done Roses, have you considered doing the magic plan on pinned posts? Many of my graduation group did it to get to 10k safely, as it keeps to the 10% increase rule.
