My running week starts on Wednesday now and I start with the longest run. So yesterday I managed my longest run ever - 7k! It’s the first time I’ve increased my longest distance since August so I was pretty excited. Took it nice and slow and even managed a bit of a sprint for the last kilometre. I tried to take some photos whilst running but they all turned out a blur.
I’m a bit achy today but still looking forward to the ParkRun on Saturday and intervals run on Monday. It feels like a very different routine now and a bit more interesting than just doing two or three lots of 5k a week.
