Well, after a virus that knocked me out for 6 weeks last summer. Then pushing too quickly to get back to longer distances causing a knee injury which meant no running for 2 months in the winter. I carefully got back to regularly running, felt stronger, achieved 10k and at the beginning of April caught bloody covid...and a good dose too!
2 months later and my lungs are finally feeling much more normal, there's a little catch in my breathing now & then but nothing like it was.
Soooo, take 3...I went out for a run walk on Saturday and loved it. It was tiring and I seemed to be slightly achy in lots of places the next day but I think that my body had just forgotten it was capable of exercise! Last night I did the same again, run/walk for 3k, running for half of the time...happily tired but not achy today.
To say I'm thrilled would be an understatement, so glad to be back and I'm sure I'll get impatient but right now I don't care how slow or far I run I'm just so chuffed to be well enough that I can get back out there, again! ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ
