I completed c25k on 23Feb and have been doing consolidation runs 3times a week for the last month. I guess I am ready to start training for the 10k, decided to start Ju Ju's magic plan (by distance) from today.
Any one else starting or just started the plan?

Thank u I57. I am looking forward to being able to run 10K even though it does seem a bit daunting at the mo.The support from the forum is really appreciated. It was a big part in completing C25K.
I'm repeating Magic Plan again, after a setback, ( I have repeated before after injury). It is a great plan and as Instructor57 says, loads of support here !I am using distance again as it works for me
Slow and steady, making sure too, that you fit in some core strength and stamina work , on some of your rest days. It is really important, as it was in C25k, to keep our running body strong and healthy, as well as the running legs! The runs are getting longer and we need that extra help!
Checking in here too! I’m starting week three but it’s likely to take me longer as I’m not fitting in all three runs every week. I’m booked for a 10K in June so as long as I’m done by then, I’m happy.
Very well done on your C25K graduation and your 5K consolidation running. Best of luck. I too am a serial repeater and I will be working my way back up to 10K and hopefully beyond over the next few weeks and months. I just add a kilometer onto a long run each week. JuJu’s magic plan is brilliant.
Hi, I’m doing the 2 run a week magic plan and I’m currently on w4. I have to confess I’m not sure how I’m going to manage my next run of 7k, never mind 10k but I’ll see how it goes. If I have to repeat some weeks until I’m comfortable then I will. Best of luck!
I did the 7k run yesterday. I was surprised that it was absolutely fine and I actually really enjoyed it. Have you got a trusted route you’re confident doing? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with repeating earlier weeks if you need to though.
Did you complete the c25k recently? Remember how daunting some of the longer runs looked until you got going on them? You don’t need to think about running 10K now. The program will get you there in time, one run at a time.
Thank you for your reply. I completed C25K in June last year and I’ve been mostly doing 5k runs or roundabout since! I decided I needed a new challenge and hopefully to help my 5k time improve by doing longer runs. I have a mixture of routes I do and I quite enjoy planning a new route on ‘map my run’ before I go or getting ideas from the routes of friends on Strava. You’re right about needing to remember how unachievable C25K seemed at the beginning but I got there and I will this time (however long it takes!) ☺️
