Good morning runners!
Started today with a brisk (-2°) run out, didn't realise it was so cold and didn't take jacket! Arms were freezing for warm up walk and first couple of KM.
Decided to have an attempt at a tempo run with the aim of seeing how close I could get to a 25min 5k (been very close in the past).
As you can see from my splits, not even close 🤣 but was happy to see sub 28mins for 5k and that I can still run a sub 5min 1km.... Just need the stamina building to do it 5 times in a row 🤣🤣
Lap 4 is the up hill section of my run, it's not overly steep but quite a long steady hill that really took some effort.
Happy with the run, pain free, feel good and a little quicker than recent runs 😁
