Got up and out early - new runners nicely fitted on my feet. After 10 minutes I started to get cramp in my toes. Decided to walk for a bit to ease it then ran again for another 5 minutes but decided that was enough. Realised that shoes were laced up too tight what an idiot I am. 🤔🤔🤔got home and redid the laces - next run hopefully Tuesday with a better outcome happy running everyone 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Always make sure that your laces are tied properly, not too tight or lose, nothing worse than having to retie a shoe lace when out a run especially if you wish to run a PB, I hope your next run will be better with no problems regarding shoes being too tight. 😊 🏃🏾

Sorry to hear about your toes. I obsess about how my laces are done up especially on the right foot as it gave me no end of trouble a while back. I’m sure your next run will be much better, and the new shoes will come into their own! 😊

I am prone to toe cramp and I laced up the new shoes how the shop assistant suggested but it didn’t work for me. Shoes replaced for my next run and 🤞🤞🤞

I knew what you meant 🤣. Yes, I hear you, I’ve experimented so much with lacing, who knew they even have lacing techniques on YouTube!

Sometimes the simplest things can spoil the plans! Easily done... My laces on one shoe kept coming undone yesterday!Hopefully you will have a happier time when you head out again!

Oh that’s so annoying for you! sometimes laces just won’t tie right, let’s hope they are more comfy next time

🤞I tied like the man in the shop suggested to stop my feet from moving forward in the shoe but it seemed to stop my circulation too 🤣🤣🤣

Sorry to hear about your shoes Scruff, extraordinary how something as simple as laces can make or break a run isn’t it?! Hope your next time out is more successful!

🙏yes it’s the small things that matter. Hopefully will get Tuesday afternoon before grand parenting duty’s on Wednesday Thursday and Friday.

Oooh 😯 poor you!! Such an easy mistake to make with new runners; I’ve done it too 🙄. You’ll be all sorted though for next time and you’ll have a super run 🏃‍♀️!

I watched you tube videos on how to lace running shoes, didn't realise that there were so many different ways
