Good morning runners! After a rest day yesterday, decided to head out this morning for another try at 5k. Went with an Audio book (I'm on book 2 of the Harry Potter books read by Stephen Fry) and it passed the time nicely.
Initially my legs were stiff and thought I may only manage a really short run but it eased off after the first KM or so and I was able to continue.
Sun was shining and despite quite a brisk breeze, I felt comfortable running without my jacket, I did keep the tights on under the shorts though, didn't think the world was ready for my skinny white legs just yet this year π€£
Run was ok, never dropped into painful at any point which was a relief, had to push myself to keep going at a few points but was very happy to complete another run and in a not bad time too.
Have a great day everyone, happy running!

It was tough, but once I'd made the decision to go, I knew I'd stick with it. The break was never a planned one, scary how quickly I got out of the habit. Hopefully you will be able to get back out there soon, have to say the change in weather really helps ππ»
Thank you, I've watched the movies loads of times but never actually read the books. As soon as I discovered Fry was reading them I knew I had to have them π
