One Year Runaversary!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ

Yep, it's been a whole year since starting regular running, completing couch 2 5K and completing the bridge to 10K plus some!! πŸ˜…. Over that year I have come to learn that running is hard sometimes (which is mostly down to me not warming up properly on occasions or not being hydrated enough) but, despite the hard runs, it has given me a better body physically, better mental health (there is no stressor that a run can't calm down) and more than that, time to connect with the ground and all around instead of being somewhere else thinking ahead!

Im certainly not marathon ready but running has changed my life and now it is a priority!! I always look forward to the next run! 😁

I hope that motivates some of you to keep going too! 😊

Happy running!

Happy Runniversary! Funny to think when we do that first run of week 1 we’ll still be doing it a year later 😊. Well done you and all that you’ve achieved 🀩.

Happy runniversary! πŸŽ‰

Are you up to 10 miles yet? Or is 10k plenty enough?

The most I have done is 12K and that isn't regular. I'm hoping this spring longer runs become more regular and my next goal is 15K.... It's the time as much as anything else. πŸ™„ What about you Katnap?

Excellent plans!Time does get awkward when you start being out for more than 2 hours!

I only mentioned 10 miles as it seems the more obvious stepping stone between 10k and a half marathon. But hey! 10 miles isn't much after doing 15k πŸ˜ƒ

I'm in the Manchester Marathon so I need to be gentle with myself for the next 3 weeks but not lose fitness. It's my first official marathon so not adding any pressure beyond getting it done! πŸ±πŸ‘
