This morning was my first run since 10 Dec, struck down with a virus for weeks but today I was determined to go out plus the sun is out!!!

I managed a 5k in under 35 minutes so not too shabby, I think my yoga has kept me going especially the start of the ‘30 days of yoga’ with Adrienne.

So good to be back 🙌🏻

Hi! Great to hear you're still out there and still running 😊 That virus sounds awful. You're still faster than me even after a month out of running! My 5k PB is around 35min. I've added in the occasional intervals run to see if I can get a little bit faster! Well done with the 30 day yoga 👏, I'm still trying to find my enthusiasm for that 🤭. Good luck with more running!

Thanks @tmbtrain I had got faster before but sometimes steady is better!Hope your training is still going well and you get to do your hike/climb this year 🤞🏼

Thanks, I'm increasing the weekly runs to total 21k just now in prep for this years big hike 😀 I've got until September so still time to get to 3 x 10k a week. I'm hoping that when the weather is better for hiking I'll notice the difference in fitness! Also thinking i should get a bit faster by default. I hope you've entered some races with your times!

3x10k 😳you go girl!! But if you keep up the training we know it’s possible and what an achievement at the end. I still keep planning park run I have the wrist band so getting there may sign up for a 10k charity run just need to get back on it.

Definitely better in the warmer weather well at least the spring these dark mornings are hard.

Keep us posted 🤞🏻

You'll get to park run, keep that wrist band in sight! Fab idea to sign up for a charity 10k too! Be a really good motivator esp over the winter 😊
