Hallo,

I haven't posted for a while as I've been doing physio sessions after my second ankle sprain of the year.

I'm back into light jogging and I've had the chance to run in some amazing locations.

Keep running and enjoying

Sorry about your ankle sprains of this year, I sincerely hope that non occur in 2022, good luck for your running journey with C25K, that photograph looks very good with you running over that bridge, your username at first sounded like a motorway.... M76.

Ha, AlMorr could be the M80 which is the motorway which is near to where I live, I travel along that motorway if I am going to either Dunfermline or Stirling parkrun.

Scottish motorways (unlike English and Welsh ones) tend to be numbered after the A roads they replace. So the M76 would follow the Dumfries to Kilmarnock route.

The M80 for the most part followed the same route as the old A80 following protests of the proposed route of the M80 through a nature reserve.

Has your physio suggested anything to prevent you having further ankle sprains?

Hi,No, the emphasis has been on building up the muscles around the ankle (lots of exercises).

My physio is not equipped for gait analysis, but I have been trying to run with shorter strides and not to stretch these .

Definitely strengthening the ankle support muscles is the way to go. 👍

I had a double sprain on my left ankle last summer (both sides of the ankle). No problems with it since healing.
