Hello fellow Runners!
I totally forgot to write this post yesterday, at the end of the week 8!
I enjoy the runs getting longer now and I am very excited that tomorrow I will be starting week 9 runs!
Week 8 started nicely, uneventful.
Run1 was just short 30min Easy run - 4.49k
Run2 was 40min Easy run 5.65k
Run3 yesterday I did 10k as a Long Run! And that was challenging. Not for the distance itself, but rather because of the weather and slippery paths. It took me 1:10:42 to complete the 10k distance as I was tried to run carefully so i dont fall and land in A&E π
I am not sure how to go about the Tempo Run I have planned for this Thursday - if it will be snowing - what should I do? I will not be able to run fast in the snow without worrying about the potential risk of fall and injury.
Clothing wise - I did not go shopping. I listened to the advise regarding layers. So I put thermal vest and leggings on, then my running clothing on it. Plus hoodie and simple gloves. Keeps me warm and comfortable.
