Except that she's disappointed by her time, rather than finding enjoyment in the run or the record. Personally I find that depressing.
I don't think that her being disappointed with her time necessarily means she didn't enjoy the run. I find it inspiring that she still wants to push herself - I plan to continue to do that for as long as possible!
See, I don't find it inspiring because I just can't relate to it. The way it's reported, at least in the linked article and The Guardian, it's all about competition, beating other people, and setting records. That is, by definition, going to be impossible for most people.
If I push myself it's because I want to and there is meaning in it for me, not because someone else has broken a world record.
Sure, good for her, but I genuinely find runners on these forums way more inspirational.
