After seeking advice I’ve decided to try and make it to 10K. I am following very loosely the ju-ju plan. 1 short run, 1 medium and one longer run each week. Today was the longer run and scheduled distance was 6K. I managed to pace myself slowly with splits between 8 and 8.05 mins per km. it really worked as I had enough energy and stamina to stop at 6.4K my furthest and longest run to date 52.24 mins. It feels great to have a goal again. Thanks forum for advice on previous posts.

Great stuff. Don't worry so much about times though. Just get to 10K first. You'll get there by Christmas methinks.
