First 10km Race

[Chesterlove]

Completed my first ever race today having started running with C25K back in February. It was the Knebworth 10km and somehow I got a PB of under an hour at 59:08. I took part with my daughters and one of their boyfriends. A bit of a sore knee and calf now but very chuffed!

Although judging by your time, you would have driven home and had breakfast before I'd've got to the finish, had I done that 10K!

🤣 Not so sure. I was very keen to get under the hour. With the HM, that’s a very long unachieved distance for me and there isn’t a milestone time that’d I want to achieve so hopefully can plod and just get through it.

Very well done on your PB nd first 10k 👏👏 race great time as well under an hour. I did my first 10k race as well a few weeks ago ad also getting a PB 57.55 very well pleased with that, I've only been running since January when I too started C25K but we all no its all about distance not speed, again well done keep it up..💪💪👊👊..
