Still Covid free and officially on holiday from work. Woke up this morning cup of tea in bed, discussion about a run and Willow put his jeans on! aren’t you coming with me? i asked, no i like running every other day, ok I’ll do an out and back from the front door, no he says I’ll drive you to the park and walk round, ok and off we go, as we drive over the bridge the car is filled with a horrible odour, I glance at him he glances at me and we both say it wasn’t me 😇 get to the park uh oh, when i opened the door we realised the wind is blowing the whiff from the sewage plant right across the park eewww it was gross. Seafront it is then, so we drive to the other end of town where the prom is wide and flat, walk towards the pier 5 minutes, I set watch off and run, I did the NRC 30 minute bad advice run again because due to daughter and dog i didn’t listen to it all yesterday,
I love the seafront, even on a grey day at high ish tide, 3k ran walk back to the car, 30 minutes up and here’s a pic my friend took while walking at sunrise while i was still asleep.

Thank you, I’m taking it one day at a time in case i have to go in to work but it’s great being off, by the time I get out it was grey sky darker grey sea but a great place to run, my friend does a lot of walking and gets up early but she’s retired so not exhausted like me 😀
