Hi folks. I haven't run for about 8 weeks. I was doing 30mins once a week before that after graduating last Christmas. I want to run this morning but not sure how many minutes I should do? Anyone out there right now available to give advice? Thanks

Morning... maybe just head out, slow and steady and, listen to your body. It will tell you exactly what is going on Not sure if you have kept up any core strength work in the past months, but anyway
it may be a good idea to warm up really well and get some pre run stretches in?
Thank you Oldfloss. Thanks for your quick reply - I knew someone would be out there! I horseride an hour a week and lead kids on ponies for 90mins on a Saturday which includes a bit of jogging so have some fitness! Not a lot but some. I'll do 10min brisk walk to start this morning and see how it goes.
10min brisk walk, 16min run, 4min walk, C25k warm down stretches. Feeling pretty good. Thanks again Oldfloss for being there to get me out the door 👍

As already said, all you can do is go out, take it easy, and see how much you can do. I'd suggest a 15-20 minute easy jog (plus warm up and cool down walks) to test things out. Don't overdo it even if it's going well.
Thanks Nowster! I did 16min easy jog - I was tempted to do more, but then it started drizzling, so thought I'd rein it in 😃. I'm going to try and up my outings to twice a week and add 5min ish each time until I'm back to 30min. Then... we'll see. Really appreciate you folk
