How did I get here? Bournemouth 5k 9th Oct

Well one week to go until the Bournemouth supersonic 5k just waiting for my running bib and timing chip to arrive in the post. Took an easy 5k more like a swim this morning with a time of 35:20 so can't complain at 74. So if I don't injure myself this week I will be running at 3:30 next Saturday. I will post my running number so if anyone from this group is there on the day you can say hello or just run the other way😁

Good luck next week hamit. Will you be running along the beautiful seafront? I will do a sun dance for you , as you would like it so much in today’s weather . Fortunately it stayed dry till after parkrun finished in Southsea.

I’m happy with cloud, but gale force winds and rain like today are not so much fun. I did a 5k reindeer run in such conditions and the antlers weren’t staying on! 🦌
