I've not posted on here for a while, and that's because I've not done any consistent running for a while.

I'm a treadmill runner, and my gym STILL isn't using fans/air con, so it gets super hot in there. I usually get to about 2k before I'm ready to give up as I'm so hot already! My last run (was on a treadmill) I made it to 6k. I did a treadmill 10k at the beginning of June and haven't made it to 10k since.

I have a 10k race for life in just over a week & really needed to get some running in! My friend & I went out yesterday evening & planned 8k.. we got there and decided to carry on! So I'm now a 10k road runner!!!😲🎉

Thank you! It was so much better than using the treadmill, I still felt great at 5k! We had planned to stop at 8, but added an extra 2k loop on as we felt we could carry on. Struggled a lot for the last 1k but I made it! 😁

Well done and how did it feel to do that outside? I personally find running outdoors easier than on a treadmill. Don't know why, but I can't reach the pace I do outside on a treadmill. I'm much much slower on a treadmill and much faster tired.
