Ohhhh… , it’s a head to head between two world record breaking attempts, I think: End2end vs Vitality! 🏁🏁🏁

Hmmm, some of us also ran a World record attempt several weeks ago held by end2end and confirming the breaking of the prior record of 6k. When last they stopped counting, they had 11k runners, but my participation number was above 50k. We didn’t get an official video though. Nice!

So we also knew we smashed the previous one but official Guiness confirmation has not yet arrived and takes weeks. Also no medal yet!☹️

So now I might have to call myself ‘previous world record holder’ before I can even call myself a real record holder ?

This one was just for the most amount of virtual 5ks in a day...so if yours was worded differently & linked to distance also they probably both stand 🤞

I don't get a medal, can download a pic that says I'm a world record holder but I'd feel a bit of a fraud...I only ran 5k 😆

Just re-read your reply & I misunderstood it, lol...if I see 6k these days I just assume it means distance! We had around 20,000 runners...so if you did have 50,000 you'll be knocking us off our perch 🤷‍♀️

Uuuhhh, it’s a tight battle to the end! (On the end of the day, they had 16000 confirmed, but you could still submit till end of week)

I did both. End2End confirmed that Vitality broke the record they had set a couple of weeks earlier on 4 September. It's probably the only time I'll break two world records in 3 weeks, so I'll take it.
