Well I’m just back from holiday and decided that after all my walking I would try a little run.

Jumped out of bed eager and got ready and out in 5 minutes. Cool this morning but dry so headed off for my usual slow mile and half. ( still waiting for my cortisone injection so easy does it atm).

Having just returned from Dorset I found the route so different having gone up and down coastal paths for the past week my route seemed quite tame. However I know I mustn’t run up hills as they really hurt my hip so my flat route is just fine. Nice 25 minutes of running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ then back home for coffee and shower. Woo hoo. Happy running everyone πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

The pain in my hips have stopped me from running and sometimes I struggle to walk after six years of being misdiagnosed I’ve finally been diagnosed with Trachanteric pain syndrome! Well done for keeping going

Thank you. I’m waiting for a cortisone injection into my hip joint so 🀞once that’s done I’ll be able to up my running again.

I’ve had those it only relieves for a bit but doesn’t get to the real problem. I’m waiting on an operation to lengthen my IT bands 😞
