Oh my word, busy day even busier than usual, walked my legs off!! Got home half an hour before due to meet friend for run 3 of week 2! Sat down, that was a mistake, said to Willow “do you want to go on your own? tell Jo I’m exhausted?” ok he says but as I’ve said I’ll go I’ll go.

Changed trainers, changed shorts, and off!!!

We set the app off together, five minute warm up walk, 90 seconds running, oh i’m tired, two minute walk and run again….at which point I realised it’s actually ok and a good pace, we talked all the way round, breathing a bit heavy but not gasping, can still talk

So that’s week 2 re done and we’ve managed to run every other day

It’s a little cooler too

Happy weekend all

Happy weekend to you too WillowandSolo, despite having a busy day you got out and redone run 3 of week 2, congratulations, you now deserve a nice rest.

Oh well done Sola! Isn't it amazing though how a few minutes in, and suddenly everything feels better again! Even if you end up collapsing into a little heap later 😁

Thanks andy to you too, it is fun running with someone new, run 1 was the fastest i’d ever run but she’s slowed down some I’m looking forward to week 3

💥Well done on bucking that feeling, Sola, and so glad it proved a good decision. A really nice story and with an important reminder to us all about that moment of doubt. Mind you, after your last outing with your colleague (the one that did your W2 c25k session which ended up a 9k run-walk), you had some reason to be wary.

Yes, but I knew as it was a work day we were limited with time, she’s loving it more than I expected and would now run on her own if we couldn’t make it, but knowing she’s going makes us go too which has increased our overall mileage and that was what i wanted 😀

I think that’s called a win-win! 👍 Great that you’ve helping introduce someone new to running.

Catching up with your post….funny how it’s so hard when you’re tired, and you don’t want to be bothered…but then you decide to go…and it’s brill!Looking forward to your next run!

Thanks and you are absolutely right, mind you after that run we came home ate dinner and as the last of the food was swallowed i fell asleep, we’ve just had our flu jabs and are going out for a run in a minute just in case we get an ache arm over the next couple of days

Good move! I remember going for a run after my 1st Covid jab in case I was rough…but was ok!

I ran 5k Sunday, then spent a few hours on my allotment…slept *really* well that night! 😂😴
