Well done BTW. We will both get to 10 miles (it will take me well over 2 hours) but I will keep that goal for October (when it gets cooler!) I will keep with the odd 10K and more then drop back to 7 or 8 K for my longer runs on alternating weeks. I did my first 15K today (15.1K actually - so I know I can do that one extra 1K. ) Once you have done a couple of 10Ks it feels like ANYTHING is possible. Just keep up with those strength exercises (I am a bit too erratic with them!)
Thank you. I only started running last month. It was hard run for a first 3 km or so. I thought I was going too fast, couldn't find my usual comfortable pace. Even thought about walking for a bit.
In the end, as always I just pushed through it. Feels great!
