First run since arriving in France

So after being cooped up at home in UK for a year because of COVID travel restrictions I have finally got back over to southern France - wow is it hot.

Decided not to run for a the first week whilst I acclimatised a bit and waited for my socks to be delivered by Amazon 🤣

Went out at 6:45 as the sun was coming up and all was well - 4K ticked off - then realised I needed the loo, (bugger who would be sixty), so as I was on a circular route and not far from home that’s where I went.

Out again tomorrow I’m back at it.

I’ve no idea where “home” is but sorry to hear you felt “cooped up” I hope you feel you have more freedom and a better frame of mind now you are in France. Happy running 🤗

It’s not that bad dont get me wrong. Just meant the restrictions on doing anything much for the last year or so.

I guess it depends what you like doing🤣 I’ve gone totally feral spending as much time as possible in sports kit walking, running, cycling and canoeing. I’m due out for lunch today and not really sure how to dress for it? As for hair and makeup 🤷🏽‍♀️ Enjoy your time in France
